I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious with a huge bathroom and offer a lovely view of the garden. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. However, the prime steaks served in the dining area were not up to expectations. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the Lake District, surrounded by hotel-lounge areas with open fires.
